Dr Sana Amraoui
Interventional heart rhythm specialist (cardiologist)
Head of department · Rhythmology (electrophysiology) at the American Hospital of Paris.
Dr Amraoui is an interventional heart rhythm specialist, coordinating the Cardio Check-up board and leading the rhythmology department. A graduate of the University of Bordeaux medical school and the London School of Economics, and a former chief resident at CHU Bordeaux, she is head of the rhythmology (electrophysiology) department at the American Hospital of Paris. She completed further training through fellowships at St Thomas' Hospital (London) and Columbia (New York). She supports her patients through the screening, diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. Dr Amraoui, specialised in cardiology and rhythmology, uses three-dimensional innovation tools to treat cardiac arrhythmias. Her medical expertise, together with the clear information she gives her patients and the empathy she is known for, keep the patient consistently at the centre of her care.
Interventional rhythmology
Dr Amraoui is a precursor of atrial fibrillation ablation in ambulatory (day-case) hospitalisation in France, when clinical parameters allow, as well as of 3D electroporation ablation, a leading-edge innovative technique in the treatment of this arrhythmia.
