Dr Amraoui is an interventional heart rhythm specialist, coordinating the Cardio Check-up board and leading the rhythmology department. A graduate of the University of Bordeaux medical school and the London School of Economics, and a former chief resident at CHU Bordeaux, she is head of the rhythmology (electrophysiology) department at the American Hospital of Paris. She completed further training through fellowships at St Thomas' Hospital (London) and Columbia (New York).
